Moon Gazing Hare
In pagan folklore, seeing a moon gazing hare was said to bring growth, good fortune and new beginnings. The profile of this majestic animal does make for a great design.
My illustration sits the hare gazing up at the moon surrounded by botanical elements that are a feature of my work. The design features the bold colours of contemporary Scandinavian graphics that have influenced my colour palette.
This illustrated greeting card features my mystical moon gazing hare. The hare is surrounded by stars, oak leaves and ferns and is shown in bold contemporary colours – capturing the Nordic folk art style I love.
The greeting card measures 148mm x 148mm and is printed on environmental friendly card , supplied with a kraft brown envelope in a compostable cello bag. The inside of the card is blank for your own message. The Hare is finished with a hint of sparkle.
Wherever possible I use environmentally friendly processes and my packaging is all recyclable. Greetings cards are carefully posted in a card and envelope. The cards are designed, printed and hand finished on the Isle of Wight.
